HOW TO RENT A BOAT?
It is very easy to rent a boat with BlackTipIbiza.
You can make your request through the website in:

April to October: Monday to Saturday from 9:30 to 21:30 / Sunday from 10:00 to 15:00;
Other months: Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 15:00);

The amount to confirm the reservation of the chosen boat corresponds to 50% or 100% of the rental and can be paid with:
Visa, Mastercard, Maestro;
Within 48 hours you will receive an email with your invoice and confirmation with all the information you need for boarding.

- How to rent a boat without skipper?
To rent a boat without skipper it is necessary to have nautical qualification.
Degrees issued in Spain (PNB, PER, Yate Pattern, etc.) and qualifications from other countries published in the B.O.E. will be accepted
Other requirements:
Deposit: between 1,000 and 8,000 euros (credit card or cash).
Sea test for some boats;
Check List: We will carry out a list of operational, safety and navigation route checks at the time of boarding.
We recommend hiring a minimum professional pattern for 1 day in case you do not know the navigation area or if you do not have much experience.
Crew (except boats that are also rented without skipper);
Drinks (mineral water, soft drinks, beer, others on request);
Towels;
Vessel insurance and occupants;
Tax (VAT) 21%
- How to rent a boat without skipper?
To rent a boat without skipper it is necessary to have nautical qualification.

BOARDING AND DISEMBARKATION
Check in: between 10:00 and 14:00.
Check out: between 18:00 - 19:00 / 21:00 maximum in July and August
When you arrive at the port the boat will be ready to sail: clean and equipped with drinks and towels.
BlackTip Ibiza offers you as a courtesy soft drinks and mineral water on board, but if you want you can also bring whatever you want.
If you have not specified in the reservation the time you intend to arrive we will contact you to stay at the port of departure.
You will receive by email next to the booking confirmation, the location of the port of embarkation.
Check out: between 18:00 - 19:00 / 21:00 maximum in July and August

USEFUL TIPS?
- Rent in advance; You will get better prices and greater availability;
- Baggage: If you are staying overnight on board it is advisable to carry as little luggage as possible and not bring rigid bags to facilitate stoeding;
- Decide the route to follow before leaving the port, previously informing you of the weather part in the port office, www.aemet.es, www.windguru.es. If you hire a pattern, let yourself be guided by it.
- Very important to wear light clothing, cap and white-soled nautical footwear. A waterproof coat jacket is also highly recommended! Sunglasses and sunscreen are essential.
- Last minute deals: if you haven't booked a boat in advance, but have suddenly decided that the best plan for now is to rent a boat, call us... we can have the offer I expected!
EXPENSES NOT INCLUDED
- Fuel: will vary depending on the route made and the consumption of the boat.

a) Crew Rental: Captain/Pattern will inform you of the total amount of fuel needed to perform the desired ride. The fuel rate at the base port petrol station will apply.
b) Rent without skipper: the boat will be delivered with the full fuel tank and must be refilled at the port of origin before check-out or charged for distance collected.
- A.P.A (Advance Provisioning Allowance) is a necessary provision of funds in the rental of some vessels that normally corresponds to 30% of the amount of the rental and goes to the costs of fuels, moorings, purchase of provisions, etc.
- Crew: the rental price includes the crew, except in case the boat is also available for rent without skipper. In this case the price will always be boat fare + skipper (optional).
- Overnight on board: check the overnight charges of each boat.
- Moorings outside the base port: If you want to dock in a port other than the base port of the boat you have chosen, we can request a place in other ports, always with prior notice and within the permitted navigation area.

RENTAL CONDITIONS AND CANCELLATION POLICY
1. PAYMENT: reservations will only be effective once you receive confirmation by email; Any other outstanding amount must be paid on the day of boarding.
2. INSURANCE: boats include accident insurance, the policy is available on board.
3. DURATION: the rental period will be 8 hours, from 10:00 and maximum return at 21h (July and August) and 20h other months. In case of overnight stay on board, please refer to the particular conditions of the reservation.
4. CANCELLATIONS: To. Cancellations made up to 30 days before boarding will have an 85% refund of the amount paid.
B. No show: penalty of the total rental amount.
C. Weather conditions: the company reserves the right to cancel the reservation, weather conditions are considered to make safe browsing impossible. It is considered bad weather: strong winds, rains, swell (tidal wave).
All changes/cancellations of the reservation must be communicated in writing via email to blacktipservice@gmail.com
5. INABILITY OF DELIVERY OF THE EMBARCATION BY THE ARRENDADORA: If for reasons of breakdowns or for any cause beyond the will of the landlord, produced prior to the start of the lease, it is not possible to deliver the leased vessel, a vessel of equal or similar characteristics will be delivered to it. If this is not possible, and at the tenant's option, you will be given a lower category vessel (with the consequent refund of the proportional difference in the rental price) or return the full price paid up to that point for the lease.
6. AVERIAS DE LA EMBARCACION DURING THE CONTRACT: If due to breakdown during the lease or other causes not attributable to the lessee, it is not possible to continue on the leased vessel, the lessor will refund the amount proportional to the hours or days when it has not been possible to use the vessel or provide a boat of similar characteristics. Under no circumstances will you entitle to the extension of the rental period. The lessee will not order any repairs without first having indicated the fault to the landlord who must grant his/her permission. The repair costs will be the expense of the lessor, unless the breakdowns occur as a result of the negligence, ineptitude or poor use of the vessel by the lessee, and in this case will be paid by the lessee in its entirety, the lessor will terminate this contract and reserve the exercise of the claim for damages that the damage may unrogation.
7. CONDITIONS OF USE: The lessee is responsible for all the acts of the persons indicated in the passenger list, which may not exceed in any case the maximum capacity of the vessel. In the event that children come on board, the tenant will be solely responsible for their safety, conduct and entertainment. it will be strictly forbidden to use the vessel for the carriage of goods, travellers other than those indicated in the previous point, the shipment of weapons, narcotics or any toxic or dangerous substance. The lessee undertakes to use the vessel exclusively as a tourist or recreational charter so in no case can it be used for trade, professional fishing, transport, sports competitions, and any other operations incompatible with the destination of the boat. The lessee as solely responsible for the vessel during the lease will make use of it with responsibility in compliance with the rules of the authorities with competences for this purpose, being solely and exclusively responsible for the consequences that will result from the breach thereof.
8. SUBCONTRACTION: The subsoring or transfer of the vessel by the lessee is strictly prohibited.
9. PERSONAL GOODS: The landlord is not responsible for any damage or loss that may occur on passengers' personal property during the lease period.
10. DATA PROTECTION: The personal data contained in this contract are protected in accordance with Organic Law 15/1999, of December 13 on the Protection of Personal Data. This data may only be processed and transferred for the purposes of companies in charge of collection management, and for the realization of advertising companies of the landlord.
11. CLAIMS: Any claim that the lessee wishes to make must be made in writing at the time of return of the vessel at the end of the contract. If it is not possible to do so in writing at that time, you will be verbally noticing and have a period of fifteen days to submit the complaint in writing.
12. FUERO: For the settlement of any dispute, the parties submit to the Administrative Authorities and Courts of Ibiza following the relationship between them by Spanish Law. Once this contract has been read with its particular and general conditions contained therein, in proof of conformity they sign it in duplicate and for a single purpose, Renter and Lessor, as contracting parties, being able to process the contract by email. Signed copies or originals shall be deemed valid and binding on the parties.
